Bed Bug Biology and Myths

This presentation will describe the etiology, transmission and treatment of bed bugs.

Pioneers of Hospice: Changing the Face of Dying

This video provides us with a personal and heretofore unseen view of the history of the hospice movement by offering viewers an intensely moving portrayal of the feelings, goals and frustrations of Dame Cicely Saunders, Florence Wald, Elizabeth Kübler-Ross and Balfour Mount.

Best Practice Discussion

Be prepared to participate in a lively discussion about your hospice’s activities related to:

  • Pinning ceremonies
  • Vet-to-Vet volunteer programs
  • Specific care needs of veterans
  • Working with Veteran Service Officers or other VA contacts
  • Accessing VA benefits
  • Securing medals or other acknowledgements honoring veterans
  • Participation in We Honor Veterans program
  • Other exciting news you would like to share

Cancellation, Refund and Substitution Policies

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing. A $10 processing fee will apply to all cancellations. Substitutions are welcome; please submit your request in writing.

 

Registration Information

PRE-REGISTRATION is encouraged. Registration at the door will be accepted only if space permits.

Registrants are invoiced as soon as a registration is received by NHPCA. If an invoice is not received within three business days, please call 402-477-0204 to confirm that the registration was received by the NHPCA office.
