CONTENT

This webinar will present the Medicare data for Nebraska hospices in comparison with years 2015 and 2016. The presentation will also review the PEPPER reports and their importance and include a brief discussion of palliative care.

OBJECTIVES

At the completion of the webinar, participants will be able to:

  1. Discuss changes in the Nebraska hospice data from 2015 to 2016 and possible causes.
  2. List the top six diagnoses for 2015 and 2016.
  3. State the top two locations of care for hospice beneficiaries in 2016.
  4. State the percentage of hospice admissions and deaths in Nebraska for 2016.
  5. Understand how to read and utilize the PEPPER Report.
