The purpose of this workshop is to encourage collaboration for pediatric palliative care patients across care settings to include home hospice; to help children and families make the transition to home hospice services; to provide quality pediatric hospice care in the home setting.

Audience: Anyone who might touch the lives of children and families facing possible terminal illnesses including, but not limited to, physicians, nurses, social workers, chaplains, child life specialists, respiratory therapist, pharmacists, and bereavement specialists.

CNE CREDIT: 5.50 contact hours awarded by Children’s Hospital & Medical Center.

Children’s Hospital & Medical Center is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Midwest Multistate Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. RN participants must attend 100% of course sessions and complete online evaluation in order to receive CNE credit. No partial credit given. NE1020-4H45-915.02. This program is approved for CNE credit through October 2020.
