This one hour webinar will cover important topics for hospice providers including payment changes, state and federal regulatory updates, OIG recommendations, important information on opioid use, and additional hospice resources.

At the completion of the webinar, learner will be able to:

  1. Understand Medicare and Medicaid hospice payment updates
  2. Discuss state and federal regulation changes for hospice and palliative care  
  3. Explain OIG recommendations on increasing CMS oversight of hospice care
  4. Discuss federal guidelines for the use of opioids in hospice and palliative care
  5. Identify where to locate additional hospice resources
