CONTENT

This one-hour webinar will explore how using alcohol and/or drugs by employees negatively impacts the safety, health, and well-being of the workplace and workforce. The signs and symptoms of abuse and how to help a coworker abusing substances will also be explored.

 

OBJECTIVES

At the conclusion of the webinar, attendees will be able to:

  1. Describe the problem on Alcohol and/or Drug Abuse in the workplace
  2. Identify substances of abuse and the warning signs and symptoms of abuse
  3. Illustrate how to help a co-worker who abuses substances

 

AUDIENCE

This webinar is appropriate for all staff in nursing facilities, assisted living, hospice and palliative care, and home health.
